An earthquake of 5.6 magnitude was felt in Arunachal Pradesh.
An Earthquake of 5.6 magnitude trembled Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh and most part of western Arunachal Pradesh at around 2.52 pm today,19 July 2019.
According to the India Meteorological Department (IMD) the epicenter of the earthquake was at East Kameng District around 107 km from the Capital City of Itanagar. The epicenter has a depth of 10 km.
The first quake of 5.6-magnitude occurred at around 2.52 pm at a depth of 10 km in East Kameng district of Arunachal Pradesh. Later it followed by two consecutive earth quakes.
The second one of 3.8-magnitude was recorded at 3.04 pm, also at the depth of 10 km at another site in East Kameng.
The third quake of 4.9-magnitude was recorded at 3.21 pm. It had its epicenter at a depth of 95 km in Kurung Kumey district of Arunachal.
However, no loss of life and property has been reported as of now.
