Hima Das wins 5th Gold in a Month

Indian sprinter Hima Das won a gold medal in the 400-meter race with a season-best time of 52.09 seconds at Nove Mesto in the Czech Republic

 Hima Das won fifth gold medal since July 2, when she ran her first competitive race in Europe. 

The sprinter had already won gold in 200 meters race at the Poznan Athletics Grand Prix and Kutno Athletics Meet in Poland earlier this month. 

She won her third 200 meters gold at the Kladno Athletics Meet and fourth gold at the Tabor Athletics Meet in the Czech Republic.

The sprinter continued her sensational sprint form and clinched her fifth gold of the month by claiming the top honours in a 400 m race in Czech Republic on Saturday.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday greeted athlete Hima Das, saying that India is proud of her achievements in last few days. He said everyone is absolutely delighted that she has brought home five medals in various tournaments. 
The Prime Minister extended his best wishes for her future endeavours.
