6th State Karate Championship held at Khudiram Anushilan Kendra

More than 400 participants and 60 officials from 18 districts have participated in this event

6th West Bengal State Karate Championship was held on 18th August at Khudiram Anushilan Kendra, Kolkata.  This event organised by World Traditional Shotokan Karate Federation West Bengal. This organisation is a member of World Traditional Shotokan Karate Federation and Karate Association of Bengal, which is recognised by Karate Association of India.

The President of the organising committee Mr. Sattrajit Chaudhury told that, more than 400 participants and 60 officials from 18 districts have participated in this event.  He added,  the championship will give the participants a golden opportunity to  prove their talents and also will provide them a platform to prepare for National level events.

Mr. Sattrajit Chaudhury himself is a renowned Karatekar. ( 7Dan WKF, 8Dan KAI. Former Bronze Medallist in WSKF World Championships). He is an International referee and Examiner also.
