The Governor of J&K Satyapal Malik has assured the people of the state to create 50,000 job vacancies.
He urged the people that different levels of prohibitory orders were imposed in the state for the safety of the residents and to maintain law and order situation in the country.

The Governor was of the opinion that the telephone and internet services of the state were suspended in order to prevent the Pakistani media and anti social elements from spreading false propaganda.
He assured that the telephone and internet services of Kupwara and Handwara district will be restored. Services to other districts also would be restored soon.
