World Clean-up Day-cum-International Peace Day was held on 21st September 2019 at Zunheboto, in Nagaland. It was organized by Cornerstone Bharat Scouts and Guides to mark the occasion of 150th Birth Anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi.

Deputy Commissioner and District President NBSG, Peter Lichamo urged the denizens of the district to work towards making Zunheboto a plastic free district in Nagaland, and added that the burning of plastics spoil the whole environment.

He further urged the gathering to stop using plastics at home, schools and offices and that the district administration is working towards Pollution Free Environment in the district. Peter Lichamo also encouraged the students to make peace in their own little way at homes, schools and with friends and requested them to be an instrument of peace in the district.
