Firhad Hakim, Mayor of Kolkata on Sunday stepped out to his neighborhood along with KMC and KMDA men to spread awareness about the importance of cleanliness.

He tweeted ~
Garbage is garbage, there is nothing about your or mine in that, so I urge all citizens to make it a personal mission to ensure that not only is your own household is clean but your neighborhood is too.

Advising the citizen, Hakim echoed ‘Merely a bowl of accumulating stagnant water is enough to become a breeding ground for dengue, so while you may be aware and careful, your neighbour may not, and dengue may fly into your home no matter how careful you are! Together we can fight against Dengue.
