The eviction drive was carried out by two teams consisting of Kohima District Administration, NGOs and Police and KMC officials along the National highway- 29 at various locations from Lerie to TCP gate and Avilie Petrol Pump to Tinpatti on 26th November.

During the drive, all construction and building materials, unused water pipelines and hanging water cables, pipelines and other obstruction structures were removed from the roadside and disposed-off. The drive was carried out for free movement of traffic and pedestrian.
