In Swachh Survekshan 2020 under the category below 25000 population in NE Zone

The Jiribam Municipal Council (JMC) was awarded the cleanest city award in the category less than 25000 populations in the North East Zone in the Swachh Survekshan -2020 survey results declared on Thursday.
The result was announced by Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri through the video conferencing.
The Union Housing and Urban Affairs Minister Hardeep Singh Puri congratulated the Chairperson of Jiribam Municipal Council and its people.
The Chief Minister of Manipur N. Biren Singh also congratulated in a tweet.
