Troops of Assam Rifles provided lifesaving medical support and saved the life of Janglal Hoakip of Aishi village who had sustained grievous injuries due to a bear attack during hunting on the morning of 20 November.

He was rushed to the Aishi Post of Assam Rifles where the paramedic rendered emergency medical aid to mitigate the severe injuries sustained on the head and left leg.

Once his condition stabilised, he was evacuated to Kamjong hospital for further treatment.
