M. Asnikumar Singh, Spokesperson BJP Manipur Pradesh and Chairman MDS highlighted the various achievements of the Government while he was attending a two day training programme organised by Lilong BJP Mandal, Thoubal District. He highlighted on the development work as well as significant progress in other areas delivered by the BJP led govt both at the centre and state.

He said that, “ This path to overall rapid transformation and inclusive growth of our state which we are beginning to see now is only possible due to the visionary, our Hon’ble PM, Shri Narendra Modi ji and the able leadership and relentless work ethic of our Hon’ble CM, ‘People’s CM’ Shri N Biren Singh.”

These are some of the points he stressed on during his speech:

•Ending the long standing 169 days economic blockade as soon as our govt came to power.

•Bridging the hill valley gap; Go To Hills, Cabinet meetings in the hill districts.

•CMHT (Chief Minister Gi Hakshel Gi Tenbang), which has saved countless lives of people in need of financial security during health emergencies.

•Organisation of the North East Development Summit in Imphal, this first of its kind in the NE.

•A much needed and long overdue revival of the State Human Rights Commission within days of our govt coming to power.

•Giving the MPSC a much needed shot in the arm with the consecutive appointments of two men of integrity as chairmen: Lt Gen Himalay and Lt Gen LN Singh.

•Education: School Fagathansi Mission- upscaling schools, including schools in local MLA’s district administration.

•Rejuvenation of the Nambul river; this has prevented frequent flooding of Imphal valley.

•Drinking water project for urban and rural population implemented at a cost of ₹2800 crores.

•Implementation of darpan “Digital Lab”/Digital Application for review by public and nation to ensure transparency and accountability in the work of govt departments.

•Introduction of e-filing in govt departments which has ensured greater efficiency, time conservation and accountability in govt administration.
