District Tobacco Control Cell, Mon in Nagaland under National Tobacco Control Programme (NTPC) conducted an “Awareness Programme on Tobacco” on 11th February 2021 at DC Office, Mon. The resource person of the event, Nodal Officer NTPC Mon Dr. I. Simon Sumi presented a talk on “Adverse Effects of Tobacco on Human Body”.

A short video clip on the harmful effects of tobacco and its products was also displayed. 

The programme was attended by ADC Mon HQ, Rahul Mali, SDO (Civil) Ilika Zhimomi, EAC Chubasanen, Dobashis and staffs of the DC Office Mon.
