In continuation of its relentless efforts to motivate the local populace to wean away from Drugs and towards constructive nation-building, troops of Churachandpur Battalion Assam Rifles organised a Know Your Forces Mela including a Weapon & Equipment Display at P Sajol Village, Henglep  Subdivision, Churachandpur, Manipur on 02 March 2021.

The Mela and Weapon & Equipment Display were organised with an aim to acquaint and motivate young boys and girls especially those of remote villages to join the Indian Army or Assam Rifles. Various CSOs and Village Authorities were also invited to witness the elaborate display of sophisticated weapons and equipment. A total of 52 local youth of remote villages of Tuilaphai, Mongken, N Pansang & P Sejol attended the same.

During the event, information about nuances of the recruitment procedures including aspects of document inspection, medical fitness, physical and academic ability required for joining the Armed Forces was also brought out in detail and the youths were guided and motivated to aim for upcoming recruitment rallies.
