The Swarnim Vijay Mashaal was received at Air Force Station Barrackpore on 12 Mar 21 by the Air Force Contingent. The flame was taken around the station covering approximately 5-6 kms wherein the Air Force personnel and children got an opportunity to pay their tribute.

A ceremonial Guard of Honour was presented to the victory flame, symbolizing the valour and determination of the warriors who won the 1971 war for the Nation.

A small programme felicitating the war veterans was put by the children of Air Force School. The ceremony culminated with the handing over of the Mashaal to the Army representatives.
