On 8th January Tarapur Marchant Association took a wonderful initiative with help of Sarala Bhandar, Tarapur for #Clean_Silchar.
They distributed clothe bags which were sponsored by Partha Roy, proprietor Sarala Bhandar.
The MLA Silchar, Dipayan Chakraborty who participated in the event urged all shoppers to distribute all customers cloth bags from their end.
He echoed that ‘we have started it from Tarapur and I hope this innovative idea will inspire people of Silchar to carry cloth bags instead of polythene bags’.
