Candidates should be Indian citizens and Indigenous to the eight North Eastern States

The North East Zone Cultural Centre, Ministry of Culture, Government of India, Dimapur invites applications for the Young Talent Artistes Award for the year 2020-2021 from outstanding candidates, in the categories of Folk and Tribal music/song and dance, Theatre, Dance Drama, Mime, Painting, Wood, Cane & Bamboo Crafts, Traditional Handloom & Handicrafts, Pottery, etc., Young artistes/artisans in the age group of 18 to 30 years (as on 15th March 2022) are eligible to apply for the award. The award consists of Rs. 10,000/-, Citation and Memento. Candidates should be Indian citizens and Indigenous to the eight North Eastern States i.e. Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim, and Tripura. Candidates who have received any such Awards (State/National) earlier in the same field are not eligible for the Scheme.

Deserving artistes/artisans may collect the Application Form from the Office of the Directorate of Art & Culture/ Cultural Affairs, Government of the concerned State or Shilpgram, Panjabari, Guwahati, and Headquarter Office, Dimapur. The form is available on the NEZCC website https://nezccdimapur.org.in and https://www.facebook.com/NEZCC.

Screening of the applications will be done by the respective State Department. Applications of the shortlisted candidates should reach the Office of the NEZCC latest by 15th March 2022. No application will be entertained thereafter.
