To strengthen the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ movement of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Manipur State BJP leader Wilubou Newmai along with Ex-ADC members, Village Chairmen and Youth leaders took part in the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ program in some of the remote and hilly parts of Manipur and distributed the National Flags to the locals. Wilubou and his team also visited Govt schools and interacted with the students and sang National Anthem with the school children.

Wilubou said that BJP has launched a campaign “Har Ghar Tiranga” to celebrate the 75th year of India’s Independence under the aegis of “Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”. He added that the campaign is not PM Modi’s Utsav, it is the Prime Minister’s vision to celebrate this 75th Independence day and so we reached out to the people living in some of the remote and hilly parts of the State who hardly see and know the true meaning of Tiranga. It is a campaign to bring the Tricolours and hoist them at our homes between August 13 and 15 to mark the 75th year of India’s Independence. The idea behind the movement of Har Ghar Tiranga is to invoke the feeling of patriotism in every Indian’s heart and to increase the sense of respect for the National Flag.

The campaign is non-political and non-partisan. It is to give every citizen of India a chance to demonstrate their patriotism and love for their country and applaud the efforts of all those who are toiling hard to make the country a better and safer place.

Wilubou implored the people living in the remote and hilly districts of Manipur to support the Har Ghar Tiranga initiative envisaged by PM Modi by hoisting the National Flags at their homes. He said that when the whole nation is taking part in PM Modi’s Har Ghar Tiranga campaign with full fervour, it is impossible for the people living in the remote and hilly regions of the State to be left behind.

Wilubou further said that “Tricolour is our pride, our honour and our identity” and he called upon the people to join the Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan by hoisting the National Flags between 13 and 15 August.
