Union Minister of State (MSME) Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma on Thursday held an interaction programme with the All Manipur Entrepreneurs Association, Manipur Industrial Department Council and other stakeholders of Manipur at Imphal. The interaction programme was organized by Micro Small and Medium Entrepreneurs- Development and Facilitation Office, Takyelpat, Imphal.

During the interaction programme, the beneficiaries of the Prime Minister Employment Guarantee Programme (PMEGP) and representatives from all  Manipur Entrepreneurs Association shared their problems, ideas and suggestions, regarding taking loans from banks and other difficulties faced by them to the Minister.

Minister Bhanu Pratap assured that he will look into the matter of all the problems and complaints laid before him and try to execute and deliver for the benefit of all beneficiaries and entrepreneurs of the State. He also said that the Ministry is trying to help the beneficiaries through a variety of schemes under the Ministry of MSME.

Joint Secretary, Ministry of MSME Mercy Epao advised the participants that as every day the department spreads information about the various schemes through social media and its website, she requested all to go through the guidelines and to look at the new schemes through Ministry’s website. She also said that all entrepreneurs must be aware of the environment for sustainable entrepreneurship.

Various entrepreneurs and PMEGP beneficiaries of the State participated in the interaction programme.
