Dr. A. Santa Singh, Director of RIMS, Imphal inaugurated the newly constructed Departmental Store, PAC & Pain Management Clinic, elevator constructed near OT Complex, and newly installed Advanced Equipment at Obst & Gynaecology Department and Utility Block, RIMS, Imphal.

The director while speaking as Chief Guest in the inauguration function stated that by inaugurating such new buildings, facilities and advanced Laparoscopic equipment, the institute will enable to serve better to the needs of the patients and employees. There are many facilities lined up for inauguration to dedicate to the public in the coming days.

The newly constructed elevator will enable the patients to move comfortably from the Ground Floor to the 1st Floor of the OT Block. The patients and staff will be immensely benefited from this Utility Block. Many Departmental Stores, Pharmacy Stalls (to sell generic medicine), fruit stalls, barber, and other facilities will be available in the Utility Block.

During the inauguration, Prof. N. Sanjib Singh, Medical Superintendent, RIMS Hospital, Prof. M. Rameswar Singh, Head of Obst and Gynaecology Department who is also Deputy Director (Admn/Link), Heads of Departments, Faculty Members, Chief Accounts Officer/ Financial Advisor, Consultant (Civil), Consultant (Hospital Administration), official, staff and invitees were present.
