Expressed his gratitude to language martyrs and decade long movement led by ACKHSA
Assam University Non-Teaching Employees’ Association (AUNTEA) on Monday celebrated its inaugural Silver Jubilee programme which will be followed by year-long activities and various programmes.
The meeting was presided over by the president, Sagnik Choudhury of AUNTEA, where the chief guest of the programme was Prof Subhash Chandra Saha, the third Vice Chancellor of the University.
Prof Saha expressed his long association with the University and echoed that he is a friend of Assam University where he worked since its inception.
General Secretary Pinak Kanti Roy welcomed all the guests and invitees in his welcome address and remembered the long history of AUNTEA.
President of AUNTEA in his keynote speech explained the challenges of the formation of Assam University & AUNTEA and expressed his gratitude to language martyrs and decade long movement led by ACKHSA, he also discussed various issues and challenges of the university system in India.
The programme was attended by Jayanta Bhattacharjee, Director College Development Council. Suprabir Data Roy, Controller of Exams besides others.
