Dima Hasao Deputy Commissioner Nazreen Ahmed, ACS, and District Election Officer (DEO) held a meeting cum press meeting with political parties and media representatives on Wednesday at the DC’s conference hall to publish the Draft Electoral Rolls of 16-Haflong (ST) LAC. 

The final electoral rolls will be published on January 5, 2023, this was informed by Deputy Commissioner and District Election Officer Nazreen Ahmed, ACS in presence of Election Officer Bruhid Rabha and ADC, A R Mazumder. 

In the meeting, Deputy Commissioner Nazreen Ahmed, ACS informed that the Draft Photo Electoral Roll pertaining to 16-Haflong (ST) L.A. Constituency in respect of Special Summary Revision of Electoral Roll/2023, has been prepared in accordance with the provisions of Registration of Electors Rules, 1960. Copy of the same is published to-day i.e on 09.11.2022 and is available for inspection at the office of the undersigned and at all Polling Stations, during office hours. 

The qualifying date for the preparation of the Electoral Rolls is 1″ January 2023.  If with reference to the above said qualifying date, there be any claim for the inclusion of a name in the Roll or any objection to the inclusion of a name or any objection to particulars in any entry, it should be lodged on or before 08.12.2022 in Form 6, 7, or 8 as may be appropriate
