Vidharbha Sahitya Sangh celebrated its 100 years of celebration with Nitin Gadkari Union Minister of Government of India and Member of Parliament of Nagpur graced the occasion where he said that the 100 years glorious history is a moment of pride for Marathi literature.

He said that it is the sahitya sabha that has given the base for Marathi drama, music and overall language.The Marathi language will grow only when we work on the culturing our language. Vidhabha Sahitya Sangh influences the society through its drama.

Vidharbha has the potential and the Vidharbha Sahitya Sabha should work towards its development. Gadkari echoed that Marathi out of the country has more active than within the state or country.Nitin Gadkari advocated thue use of technology. He stated that there is a difference between determination and modernisation.

No philosophy can be taught to empty stomach added the Minister and said that people of literature need to make the sustainable career.Marathi drama, literature, media has a role to perform and he wished that next generation will be sensitised on Marathi culture and language.Various people from the world of literature were felicitated and awarded by the Vidharba Sahitya Sabha.
