Karbi Students Association (Samson) and DDC Vice President Paul Terang and Karbi Students Association (Lumding road) DDC secretary Rakesh Terang have been accused to be involved in kidnapping and demanding money from Nishant Jain.
Diphu : Controversy of Nishant Jain family member of Shri Mangal, the profiteer of a business conglomerate of Diphu town who has been accused of being involved with an alleged immoral act and exploiting the modesty of a certain girl is rising with every passing day.
Several social organizations have demanded an impartial enquiry on the whole incident. Frontal women’s body, Karbi Anglong Women Justice Forum has stated that Nishant Jain was caught red handed while he was accomplishing the wicked act.
The women’s body has mentioned that as students they have done their task that was necessary, maybe their way was not very correct; that necessarily doesn’t give the profiteer of Shri Mangal any right to accuse the student’s body on bogus and unfounded grounds.
After the incident the Shri Mangal owner complained with the local police that one of his family members was abducted by some youths and he implicated that the motive behind was honey trapping.

In the meantime, the Karbi Students Association (Thomson Rongpi) faction denied its connection in this occurrence. They elucidated through the press conference that they disprove all accusations of kidnapping and extortion made against them by the proprietor of Shri Mangal.
In the press conference the leaders informed the media that the members accused with kidnapping and extortion have been provisionally suspended from their membership. The leaders entirely refused to acknowledge any responsibility of the accused persons.
On the flip side the student body has reminded the proprietor of Shri Mangal about their shady past. They accused Nishant Jain of making unlawful purchases of land and black mailing certain married women.
