Shillong : IIM Shillong is set to host the Business Leadership Summit from 4th to 5th March 2023, with the theme “Youth, Managerial Competence, and National Growth.” The summit promises to be an impactful event that brings together seasoned business executives, entrepreneurs, policymakers, and thought leaders to chart a new course
for the development of businesses and the economy of the country.

The institute recognizes the critical role of the youth in shaping the future of businesses and economies globally. As such, the summit will feature distinguished speakers and panelists who will share their wealth of experience and insights on how youth can develop the necessary managerial competence to drive national growth. The keynote speakers are Dhruv Sharma, a lead economist at the World Bank, and Dhuwarakha Sriram, Chief of Generation
Unlimited, Youth Development and Partnerships with UNICEF India – Both speakers will share their thoughts on how businesses can leverage the potential of young people to drive innovation and growth.

IIM Shillong organised the leadership summit with “Learning on the Green Turf” – a one-of- a-kind event where a tournament will be held for corporate leaders alongside panel discussions on different aspects of management learning and a discussion on work in synergy to provide an enriching experience will take place. IIM Shillong intends to build a legacy of lending a unique learning opportunity to its young professionals while networking, exchanging ideas, and immersing in the greens with the “strategists”.

The summit is organized in partnership with Yuwaah, the India chapter of the Generation Unlimited initiative by UNICEF, aimed at preparing young people for the future of work.
