KRC Foundation to hold interactive session in Silchar on ‘Barak-Manipur Catalyst To Act East Policy of Government of India’

SILCHAR: An organisation Knowledge Resource Centre (KRC) Foundation will organise an interactive session on “Barak-Manipur Catalyst To Act East Policy of Government of India” at Cachar Zilla Parishad on Sunday.

The interactive session will be held at the Parishad’s conference hall. Dr. Th. Dhabali Singh, chairman, BABINA Group of Companies, Imphal, Manipur will be present as the chief guest and Ningombam Irabanta, managing director, UNACCO Group, Imphal, Manipur will grace the occasion as a special invitee.

Veteran journalist Haran Dey, businesswoman Swarnali Choudhuri and KRC Foundation’s managing trustee Biswadeep Gupta will be the speakers at the programme.

The main objective of the event is to discuss various topics and issues related to the growth and prosperity of Barak Valley and Manipur. It may be mentioned that the KRC Foundation had formed a Barak-Manipur Friendship Association (BMFA) at an event at Rajiv Bhawan in Silchar on February 8 .

The KRC, via the initiatives, is aimed to create an ecosystem to culture the historic relationship enjoyed by the two regions (Barak Valley and Manipur) and to further the economic, social, educational and cultural relationship between the two important regional clusters that are vital for realisation of the Act East Policy of the Centre.
