Diphu :  President of Tiwa frontal organization Mathulai Thokra, Karbi Anglong District and prolific writer Horsing Kholar was honored with the Sahitya Academy Award in a solemn official function at Delhi Science Bhawan on March 13.

 Kholar was publically felicitated by apex Tiwa leaders representing various socio-cultural organizations at Jagiroad on March 14 during his back journey from Delhi. Leaders of Tiwa Mathonlai Thokra and other social and academic organizations welcomed Horsing Kholar in a traditional manner.

President of Tiwa Mathonlai Thokhra Dipendra Nath Bordoloi, former president of the organization Lalsing Madar; President of Tiwa Rajdarbar Jursing Bordoloi; Executive Member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council , D. Uphing Maslai and Member of Tiwa Autonomous Council, Jivan Konwar, representative of Tiwa Sahitya Sabha- Karbi Anglong Janardon Patar honored him for his outstanding achievement.
