Haflong : District Level Cooking competition on millet based recipes was held  at GNB Model School Haflong on Friday.The cooking competition of Cook-cum-Helpers was Organised by the District Office,PM POSHAN,Samagra Shiksha,Dima Hasao based on the theme of the Govt.of Assam, “ Healthy filling for Healthy Living”,considering the nutritional aspects of millets and its Dietary importance which is not widely known.

The cooking competition was Judged by The District Food Safety Officer,Jt.Director Health services,Dima Hasao, along with Dietician,Nutrition Rehabilitation centre,NHM,Dima Hasao.Chef from a prominent Hotel in the district Bargsaign Residency was also present as co-judge.The cook cum helpers of G.C Langthasa HS under  Mahadev tilla cluster emerged as the District winners.
