Diphu : After a brief lull Karbi Anglong police have achieved another major feat against drugs transportation today. Police have arrested one person with more than half kilogram heroin in Laharijan locality bordering Nagaland. According to police the market value of the seized drugs will be around rupees three crore.

According to police forty five soap cases containing 565.28 grams of heroin were hidden inside a customized secret cavity made on top of the fuel tank of a Tata Nixon vehicle with Registration number MN 01 AG 1464 at Lahorijan Police checkpoint of Bokajan subdivision, Karbi Anglong District on today. 

In this case police have arrested Paokhanlal Manlun aged around twenty seven years son of Ziltong Manlun and he is resident of Songjang village, Senapati district of Manipur. The drugs packets were seized under the  supervision of the Sub Divisional Police Officer of Bokajan.
