Diphu :  After dreaded narcotics like heroin, India Made Foreign Liquor for sell in Arunachal Pradesh, Mayan Maries betel nuts, Karbi Anglong police have again recovered large quantity of cannabis from a passenger bus during regular check at Khatkati police checkpoint, Bokajan subdivision today.

According to police the cannabis was recovered from a bus bearing registration number AS02 CC2104, the bus was proceeding to Nagaon district of Assam from Dimapur city of Nagaland. During checking the psychotropic substances were found from the possession of two paddlers.

Rasidul Islam aged around twenty five and Muhammad Abu Suma aged around forty seven years kept around 20 kg 44 grams of cannabis with their belongings in the bus. 

Police have taken them into custody and have charged them under various sections of narcotic and psychotropic act of Indian Penal Code.
