Diphu : The 61st annual conference of the Manipuri Sahitya Parishad concluded at Sports Association auditorium hall, Bokajan yesterday. The two day program commenced from April 8. The delegates meeting, open session, poets meet and culture program were the best part of the conference.

Thy annual session commenced with the raising of the organizational banner by the President of Manipuri Sahitya Parishad Sri. Ngangom Joykumar Singh. Rich tribute was paid to the departed souls and the ritual was directed by vice president of Manipuri Sahitya Parishad Basanta Kumar Singha.

On the second and concluding day, President Ngangom Joykumar Singh presided over a seminar on relevant matters. Deputy Speaker of Assam Assembly and MLA of Bokajan Dr. Numol Momin attended the colloquium as the chief guest.
