Sub: Electricity disruption
Dear Sir,
I write to you to point out through your medium that in this hot session and heat wave we are facing electricity disruption so frequently that it is becoming unbearable for the elderly and students.
What we need to understand is that we have to consume less and ration ourselves as Government or the electricity bodies are not able to cope up with the demand even though electricity cost has gone up.
We know we have to survive but the question lies on both the consumer and supplier. Are we reducing our consumptions and is power department able to meet the rising demand.
I think if we reduce our use of electricity, the power department loses revenue and automatically they will be bound to provide uninterrupted supply looking into economic sense. I therefore urge all to reduce electricity consumption and switch off when not required.
Sincerely yours
