Diphu : The Department of Education of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council ceremonially distributed Tablet PCs to the heads of all Primary, Upper Primary, Secondary and Senior Secondary Schools of Karbi Anglong and West Karbi Anglong in an official event organized at Diphu Town Hall yesterday.

Overall 2217 Tablet PCs were distributed, out of which1427 for Karbi Anglong, while the remaining 790 PCs were given to institutions of West Karbi Anglong. The beneficiaries include 1736 primary schools, 260 upper primary schools and 221 secondary and higher secondary schools. 

Chief Executive Member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council Tuliram Ronghang, Member of Lok Sabha from Diphu constituency Horensing Bey and Executive Member of Karbi Anglong Autonomous Council in charge Education Richard Tokbi were present in the ceremony.
