Tripura CM talks tough against syndicate culture

Agartala: Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha has warned those who are trying to revive the syndicate culture in their locality and said any such attempt will be dealt with seriously. Addressing a gathering of party workers at Udaipur he said the Congress and CPI(M) used to follow this culture but everyone must keep in mind that the BJP government is in power now and this party never indulges any such culture.

He highly appreciated the dedication of the party workers which made the victory of BJP in the last election and said them to remain alert against any attempt to misguide them by vested interest people. He said our target is to make Tripura a model before the nation and every worker must work in this direction.

He said the responsibility of the persons who are holding some portfolio is much more and must do it with all earnestness. Citing his own instance Chief Minister said one must start working from the booth level which gives a big opportunity to reach to the people in the grassroots level.
