SILCHAR: With a view to gathering information regarding the preparation of district disaster management for deluge since monsoon is just a few weeks away Cachar district administration held a review meeting with the authorities at Silchar on Wednesday last.

The meeting was chaired by the Chief executive officer of DDMA, Cachar  Yubaraj Borthakur. The CEO had a threadbare discussion on every aspects with the officials concerned.

“On the basis of our past experience we need to chalk our plans. The schools are used for relief camps. So, training will have to be imparted to the teachers. We should arrange everything in advance. We should be prepared to face any sort of eventualities,” Borthakur said.
