Haflong: Debolal Gorlosa Chief Executive Member, Dima Hasao Autonomous Council distributed certificates to 84 numbers of the first batch of pass-out students of Sengya Sambudhan Phonglo Institute in a glittering function held at the SSPI premises at Arda some 90 km from Haflong on Friday.
The certificate distribution program was attended by Nipolal Hojai, EM, DHAC, Debanon Daulagupu, Principal Secretary, DHAC Nobojit Hojai MAC, Diyungbra, Pradip Hajarka Director, FISS, Chitta Ranjan Deka Director, FISS Amal Sharma, Director NTV, Raju Malik, RSS, Haflong Vibhag Pracharah.
This institute was established under the Memorandum of Settlement between DHD, DHD(J) and Governments to impart training to the youths in skill development and entrepreneurship the training for the first batch started in February this year and after the examination on May 5th as many as 84 students passed out in Assistant Electricians and self-employed tailoring.
CEM Gorlosa talking to the media expressed his happiness while distributing the certificates to successful students of both Assistant Electricians and self-employed tailoring. He assured to provide job opportunities and also extend support to run the business if necessary.
Raju Malik, RSS, Haflong Vibhag Pracharah explained the aims and objectives of the SSPI for skill development.
