Bishnupur : M.Asnikumar Singh, chairman LDA and spokesperson BJP Manipur Pradesh, in collaboration with All Meetei Medico Union(AMMU) Manipur led by senior specialists Dr Uthan, Dr Kameshore, Dr Paikhomba organised a free medical camp at a relief camp site in Laishoi Village (Bishnupur District). More than 20 doctors, paramedical staff took part.

As part of the medical camp, a plethora of essential medicines were also distributed free of cost in the relief camp. Speaking to media personnel at the sidelines of the medical camp, M.Asnikumar was quoted: “As a Manipuri, this is the lowest one has felt. It pains our hearts to see our motherland in this state.

Manipur’s diversity has always been its strength and the unique ability of its different communities to thrive from each other’s experiences and cultures. All the communities have always supported each other in times of adversity. But what has happened is deeply heartbreaking.

We all breathe the same air, have the same desires of a better future for our children. Let us all take a step back, reflect and realise that the efforts and sacrifices we make to achieve peace and harmony are far greater than anything. The state and the central governments are working tirelessly 24*7 to ensure return of normalcy in the state.

The cooperation and support of the general public is crucial in the government’s efforts to restore peace and harmony.
For the sake of the motherland, let us all work hand in hand to ensure that peace prevails. Peace has the power to overcome all evils.
