Kolkata: Airports Authority of India (AAI) is increasing the use of renewable energy at airports across the country. To re-emphasize its commitment towards energy saving campaign, a solar plant was incorporated at Kolkata airport for the operation of its 2.4Lakh Sq.m. terminal building in 2017. 

Latest energy efficient equipment like green chillers, VFDs, BMS & LED lighting were also adopted while designing the new integrated terminal building.
