The Newfound Love

Tall and strong, alone he stands,
In distant lands, with empty hands,
His friends have left, no longer near,
And in his heart, loneliness like a spear…

But he finds solace in his poetry,
Each stanza a form of therapy,
Oozing out his deepest pain,
On pages, his emotions unchained…

Through his words, he finds a voice,
And in his heart, a newfound rejoice,
But still, he longs for love’s embrace,
To find someone who sees his grace…

One day, by chance, he meets a maiden fair,
With eyes that shine like golden glares,
She takes his hand and shows she cares,
They vow to be each other’s debonair…

For love has come, as a pleasant surprise,
And he revels in her thoughtful eyes,
With her, he feels complete and whole,
A feeling he once thought lost in his soul…

But back at home, he thinks all day,
Of the girl who took his breath away,
He longs to tell her how he feels,
But fear and shyness keep him still…

So he turns to his pen once more,
And for her, he writes a love-filled score,
In every word, he bares his heart,
Hoping she’ll see his love’s true art…

And when he finally musters the nerve,
To tell her how he truly and surely yearns,
She listens with eyes wide a gentle heart,
And in his arms, they’ll never be apart…

Amidst the fields of gold and green,
Two hearts soar, like an endless dream,
Tall and strong, they stand hand in hand,
Together, they explore this wonderland…

The wind may blow and storm may pass,
But their love will ever and forever last,
They’ll face the world, with heads held high,
And never let go of their love, so nigh…

Their hearts beat to the same sweet tune,
In each other’s arms, they feel immune,
From all the pain and struggles of life,
Together, they carve an endless strife…

Tall and strong, they stand in bliss,
Their love, a feeling they can’t dismiss,
No longer alone, with empty hands,
Forever, in love, they’ll take a stand…

Together they promised to meet each bend,
They’ll have each other, their forever friend,
Tall and strong, they’ll stand side by side,
Their love, a beacon that’ll forever guide.
