The Russo-Ukraine war seems to be far from over. This war is having a devastating effect on world economy. It is really unfortunate that today Ukraine has become a mere pawn in the hands of western powers. She has reached such a stage where it has become extremely difficult for her to get out of this mess.

Vladimir Putin is having his egos and he will not budge before the US. In the midst of this clash between the two Titans—the common people of Ukraine are suffering. For the sake of humanity the non-aligned nations need to come forward and play the role of a facilitator. The non-aligned can broker a truce between the two warring nations—Russia and Ukraine.

Time is running out and the threat of a nuclear war cannot be ruled out. The United Nations too need to play a very vital role in this regard. This international body was formed to ensure global peace. The time is up for United Nations to display its mettle in world affairs. For the sake of humanity this bloody war must end.
