Itanagar: Addressing a large crowd in Itanagar on Tuesday union minister Kiren Rijiju said that Prime Minister has a vision for Northeast and has already decided to improve the infrastructure of all areas having international borders and this includes Arunachal Pradesh as well.

“This is a very significant step of our government. Our predecessors never thought it important to improve the road networks of areas having international borders with countries China and Myanmar. The Modi government has corrected this historic blunder and has already started his work on a mission mode,” Rijiju said.

“After the Modi government came to power in 2014, the policy has changed and the last border village has been considered as the first Indian village for development in border areas,” the minister said.

He participated in a mega rally here on the completion of nine years of the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre and seven years of the Pema Khandu dispensation in the state. Rijiju assured that before 2024 4G network will connect every village of Arunachal Pradesh, including the border areas.

“As an elected representative of Arunachal Pradesh in Lok Sabha I have tried to execute my duties with utmost sincerity and commitment,” Rijiju quipped.

Meanwhile, taking a swipe at the opposition the union minister said that the detractors of this government is only busy in criticizing the government and not trying to acknowledge the good work pursued by this incumbent government.
“We leave it to the wisdom of the common people,” Rijiju said.
