Agartala: Union Minister of State for Women Empowerment Pratima Bhowmik said the BJP will fight to ensure victory in the upcoming panchayat election in West Bengal.  The Union Minister was in Agartala and was addressing a meeting organised to mark the nine-year completion of the Union government led by Narendra Modi.

Bhowmik is visiting Bengal for campaigning in the Trinamool Congress ruled state and said that like the leftists, the Trinamol Congress also will go to oblivion soon as the people of West Bengal have already realised the fraudulent politics of the party led by Mamata Banerjee.

She said members of parliament from other states ask how the condition of West Bengal has deteriorated so much adding that the simple answer is the negative politics of the left and Trinamool Congress for a long time is the reason for such a pitiable condition of the state.

Citing several welfare schemes launched by the Narendra Modi government she said the Mamata Banerjee government is reluctant to implement all these projects and depriving the people.
