Manipur : With Manipur still tense after weeks of ethnic violence left nearly a 100 people dead, members of the Meitei community on Wednesday held a demonstration demanding Government to check “illegal immigration” in Manipur and protect the state’s territorial integrity.

The rally was organized by the North American Bangladesh Manipuri Society, a civil society organization. Hundreds of Meitei, most of them living in New York, took part in it.
