Haflong : In connection with Intensified Mission Indradhanush (IMI) 5.0 and to strengthen the routine vaccination process and expand immunization coverage to all children and pregnant women in Dima Hasao district, a meeting of District Task Force (DTF) was held under the chairmanship of Principal Secretary, N.C Hills Autonomous Council in the Officer’s Conference Hall of Dima Hasao Autonomous Council Haflong on Tuesday.

In the meeting District Immunization Officer, Dr. Marina Changsan informed that a routine vaccination process is to be conducted in three rounds- one each in August, September and October 2023. The first round of immunization under Mission Indradhanush 5.0 will commence from August 07th to 12th, 2023 followed by the second round from October 09th to 14th, 2023 and third round from October 09th to 14th, 2023 to cover children 0-5 years of age and pregnant women.

The meeting was attended by Secretary Partha Johori, Deputy Secretaries Rebecca Changsan, and Prabhat Pegu, SDM&HO Medical and Health Services, Dr. Leena Hakmosa, District Nodal Officer, Dr. L Veiphei and other officials.
