Haflong : Ministry of Sports and Youth Welfare, Assam organizes Y20 talks in the presence of Nandita Gorlosa, Minister of Sports and Youth Welfare Department, Assam as chief guest at Haflong Govt College auditorium on Thursday.

The event was graced by Devnit Chaudhuri, Y20 Delegate as Guest of Honour, Gitartha Goswami, Member Secretary State Level Advisory Committee for Students & Youth Welfare, Govt of Assam as Guest of Honour and Anmol Sovit, Y20 India Chair as guest of honour.

In this event, the renowned motivational speaker Diganta Biswa Sarma, delivered speech on the topic “The secrets of Eternal Youth” while Kapil Kemprai, Research Scholar spoke on the topic “Climate Change and Disaster Risk Reduction: Making Sustainability a Way of Life.”

All the young achievers of Dima Hasao were felicitated with ‘risa’ and certificates for their efforts in bringing laurel to the district in their respected field of sports, adventure sports, athletes etc.

Students from most of the schools of Dima Hasao along with their teachers attended the talks on Y20. All the speakers encouraged the youths through their highly motivated and enlightening speeches. The students expressed their happiness to attend such talks from renowned personalities and hoped that this would definitely benefit in shaping their future life.

Talking to the media all the speakers expressing their satisfaction with the performances of youths said there was no dearth of talents in Dima Hasao and this should get proper guidance.
