Haflong : One Bipin Lyngdoh aged 42, a resident of 14 Kilo near Umrangso died when he was rushed to Umrangso Hospital after being injured due to lightning on Saturday.

The incident occurred at about 5 pm on Saturday when Lyngdoh was working at his house complex and suddenly there was a bolt of strong lightning causing injuries to him.

He was immediately rushed to Umrangso but unfortunately succumbed to his injuries. His 11 years son Sebastian was also injured in the incident and was being treated at the Hospital and he is now recovering. Following Bipin’s death there has been a shadow of grief in the entire village.
