Speakers thrash out memories concerning his patriotic feelings and contribution to the freedom movement of India
Diphu : Deshbhakti Diwas was observed in Karbi Anglong district today to remember his contribution towards Assam by the Information and Public Relations department at Diphu on his 84th Death Anniversary.
To mark the occasion, Gagan Narzary, Deputy Director of Information and Public Relations (Hills), Karbi Anglong lit the traditional lamp to pay reverence to the great leader. A co-memorial colloquium was organized at the office of the District Information and Public Relations. Rich floral tributes were paid in the portrait of Deshbhakta Tarun Ram by the officers and staff of the District administration.
At the colloquium, Deputy Director Gagan Narzary, District Information and Public Relation Officer Utpal Dimasa and Liladhar Teron, Advisor of Karbi Lammet Amei spoke on the life and contribution of Deshbhakta Tarun Ram Phukan focusing the significance of the observation.
