Imphal : The employees of the National Institute of Technology (NIT) Manipur on Friday visited some relief camps set up in Phayeng, Imphal West in Manipur, and distributed relief materials for the inmates. 

The employees also interacted with the inmates to understand their condition and the role NIT Manipur can play to mitigate their problems. NIT Manipur has been playing an active role to help the displaced victims. Earlier a blood donation camp was also organised in collaboration with RIMS. 

NIT Manipur is an institute of national importance with an NIRF ranking of 95 and one of the leading technical institutes in the region.
