Imphal : All Four accused(s) wanted in loot of MSCB, Kangpokpi Branch vide .FIR No.57(7)2023 KPI-PS were arrested on Saturday. It is to be noted that a SIT was formed under the leadership of Addl.SP (LO) Tholu Rocky to investigate the case. 

While the investigative team got the input from the bank that the culprits have stolen the yet to be issued ATM cards from the Bank, they tracked the ATM cards and it was observed that the culprits used the cards to withdraw cash from ATMs located in Senapati and Kangpokpi. 

Based on this information the team collected the CCTV footages from the banks following due procedure. 
One accused  Lamjalen Chongloi alias Lelen aged 33 s/o Late Lunkhohao Chongloi of Chalwa Village, Kangpokpi District of Manipur was identified by the bank staffs from the CCTV footage. 

KPI PS team led by OC  Henminghthang Kipgen arrested the individual. Upon interrogation the accused accepted the charges and informed about the whereabouts of the other accomplices. Based on his inputs the other culprits were also arrested. 

The other three arrested are:

2. Lengoumang Kipgen @ Goumang (30) s/o (L) Sattinlal Kipgen of L.Songtun Village, Kangpokpi District,Manipur
3. Lunminthang Khongsai(33) s/o Thanglen Khongsai, loujol Village(PS-Saparmaina), KPi Dist
4. Seiminthang Khongsai (34) s/o Ngamlet akhongsai , Loujol Village (PS: Saparmaina) , KPi Dist Manipur
From the arrested individuals the stolen properties were alsi recovered, the Police officials  informed.
