KOLKATA: At 42 Chowringhee (JN Road) the roof of the 65th floor was cast earlier this month, it became the tallest building in India, craning over Mumbai’s Tardeo overlooking the Maidan and the Hooghly River. This building has reshaped Kolkata’s skyline and the buildings like Tata Centre, Chatterjee International and Everest House will look shy though they had dominated the skyline until this rise up. Mr. A N Shroff of Alcove Realty, one of the three companies that formed a consortium to develop the ultra-premium residential project informed that by addition of four floors has made it possible to make it the tallest building in India.
