Haflong : Candlelight Vigil and Solidarity Prayer was organized  for Kuki-Zo victims of on going violence in Manipur near Boat house at Haflong on Thursday.

The programme was organized by Kuki-Zo students body, such as Kuki Students’ Organisation (KSO) Dima Hasao; Young Mizo Association (YMA)Haflong; Hmar Students’ Association (HSA) Assam Hills JHQ; All Biate Students’ Association (ABSA), Haflong;  Hrangkhol Students’ Association (HKSA) Assam Block; Vaiphei Zillai Association (VZA), Haflong.

Conducted by General Secretary, KSO-Dima Hasao Lengoujao Singson, the programme started with Welcome Speech by Information Secretary HSA Joy Thiek.Condolence Service for Kuki-Zo brethren killed in Manipur ongoing violence was Ministered by Rev. Nguljalhun Chongloi.

He also encouraged the gathering students, youth and other sympathizers.That was followed by presentation of a heart touching and thrilling Song, “ When you go Home” and  “ Igam hilou Ham “ from Popular Soloists  Victoria Hoisuaching Lunkim and  Angela Joute. During listening the songs, the gathering offered “Free Will Donation for the Kuki-Zo victims of Manipur.

In his Vote of thanks,  General Secretary KSO Assam David Changsan,thanked all the leaders and members of  students’ body of the Kuki-Zo for organizing the  programme. He also expressed  gratitude to all the gatherings  to make the programme a grand success. David also appeal to  work  together with mutual love and respect.
