Cachar Police busts heroin worth seven crores in Assam

Silchar: Cachar Police based on secret information had conducted a special operation against the transportation of narcotic substances at Labok Village, Part IV, Lakhipur in the house of one Meena Kumari Sarma and recovered one hundred soap boxes  containing 1.30 kilograms suspected heroin. 

Police arrested  Meena Kumari Sarma, aged 38 years who is the widow of Late Sanjiv Kr Sarma of Labok Village , Part IV, Lakhipur. The price of the narcotics substance in the black market is about seven crores according to police estimates.
